Spanish Hash Recipe


Spanish Beef Hash

I got this recipe from cook smart magazine

1 lb Ground beef
2 Cups Chopped yellow and red peppers
1 Small onion, chopped
1 Garlic clove, minced
2 Small potatoes, peeled and cut 1/4 in
2 Med tomatoes, chopped
8 oz Can of tomato sauce
0.5 Cup Sliced fresh mushroom
0.5 Cup Beef broth
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp Soy sauce (GF)
1 tsp Pepper
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Dried oregano
Optional ingredients
2 More garlic cloves
2/3 Cup Green pitted olives
1 Tbsp Loisiana style hot sauce
1/4 tsp Cajun seasoning

In a Dutch oven, cook the beef, peppers, onions and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain.
Add all other ingredients
Bring to a boil
Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 30-35 minute or until potatoes are tender
Serve with rice
